The School of Humanities and Social Sciences, UEL is offering two full PhD studentships in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences at UEL.

The anthropology team offers supervisory expertise on a range of topics. These include, but are not limited to:
· Cultural change, ethnicity, identities, belonging
· Migration and Diaspora
· Nationalism, citizenship, State
· Counterfeits and reproductions
· Material culture
· Ritual, belief and language
· Anthropology of media and communication
· Knowledge practices, anthropological debates
· Multiculturalism and the global city
· Violence and conflict resolution
· Land rights and political processes
· Human rights/legal anthropology
